a new beginning.....

Can't believe 5 months flew by SO FAST! Wasn't able to blog as soon as i said i was going to blog, but hey~ if i blogged when i said i would.....i wouldn't have all of these wonderful pictures hahahah :P

So yes, i can't believe it has already been 5 months, in just a few days, I'll already be flying back, to Brunei, but for only 2 months, then Uni will start in like November.....

I am so going to miss EVERYONE in SOT!!!! Can't believe I'm saying this, but i do miss waking up early in the morning and rushing to school! Hahahahaha really i really do!

So i got all of my assignments back! All of my results in! My certificate, my transcipt, a Trophy ;) heheheheheh and i got like overall an A!!!! Heheheheheh so happy lah!!!

Graduation service was AWESOME!!!!! The best thing about it is MY PARENTS CAME!!!!! PARENTS as in PLURAL!!!!!! Just want to say thank you God for answering my prayers :D

And i got 3rd for Minister of the Year Award hehehehehehe so HAPPY!!! Also embarrassing lah, cause i THOUGHT i didn't have to go on stage right~ so when they call my name, i was like still sitting down on my seat and i made PASTOR wait for like 5 seconds.....-_-" in front of EVERYBODY!!!!!!! SOOOOOOO MALU~~~~~~~ but it's alright~ it's ok~ I'm gonna make it anyway~ hahhahaha

So in bible school we mainly stock up on sweets and stuff to keep us awake, some will drink cups and CUPS of coffee!!! I think ah a lot of us are on the verge of getting diabetes liaw~ hahahaha

Of course what's Singapore without the fabulous MRT......of course it would be great if i can drive! But OMG the petrol prices here are like 6 TIMES that of Brunei, so i did a calculation right~ if i drove in Singapore i'll be spending like $480 JUST ON PETROL!!! Haven't even include the ERP lah, the Taxes lah, the PARKING lah.....hai~

Hahahahah was so proud and sad to hand in my last and final assigment.......late some more -_-" minus 13 MARKS!!!! WAHHHHHHHHHHHH :'(

So in SOT we had SOOOOOOOOOO MANY MANY MANY STUDENTS!!! 627!!! We have Eddie from Nigeria....

It's been like AGES since i came online hahahahha so MANY e-mail messages! Tags on the board, notifications on Facebook, irritating application requests (that WILL be ignored), offline messages and so on lah hahahaha, Just to type this post i had to CUT my nails hahahah, they were SOOOOOOOOO LONG MAN!!!! Not that i don't want to cut, i forgot to bring to Kota Kinabalu [KK] with me, so OMG it was so hard to do so many things.....well not so many lah, but it's gross, they were as long as the vampires' nails that you see in Chinese movies "chiang zea" hahahhaah

So yes......this blog got TWO contents lah! One is about the preaching test one and the other is about the KK mission trip one! So here goes.....

5 Down.......and then there was 7.......

WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH last Friday right~ LING PREACHED!!!!!!! OMG WAS SO EXCITED MAN!!!! Really miss her sermons lah, and also the way Ling preaches! It was AWESOME!!! Like really man! Hahahahah and as all of you may know i was being very ME lah, hahahahh saying very loud "YES" and "AMEN" hahahahah my team was actually looking for me (cause i didn't sit with them :P went in front, like first row, to see Ling preach :D) and then they heard my very distinct "YES" and "AMEN" hahahahahah

Immediately all of them were like "Oh oh oh Bernard is sitting in front." HAHAHAHHAHAHAh they were all like saying "Eh~ Bernard, if we all feeling very sleepy ah, just say "YES" and "AMEN" then we can wake up already hahahahaha." So i was very happy lah, get to hear Ling preach again! All about faith! It was really good lah! HAhahahahahah Ling was the FIRST FEMALE preacher to PREACH!!! And ANd AND Pastor Tan had NO, NOT ONE, NOT EVEN A HINT of Correcting to do!!!!!!!!! WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH STRESS LOH STRESS LOH STRESS LOH~ hahahahahhahahahaha

Cause all of my SOT friends (especially my team) knows that Ling's my Pastor lah, so they were telling me how good Ling is!!! HAHAHAHH SO HAPPY LAh!!!! And then they'll immediately add "So Bernard, when are YOU preaching?" WAHHHHHHHHH I REALLY DON"T KNOW LAH!!!!!

BUT I REALLY JUST WANT TO SAY THANK YOU SO MUCH LING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So encouraged by Ling's message! Oh oh oh oh she was also the FIRST to have power point slide HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH, can become REALLY Singaporean liaw~ heheheheheh HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHH AND AND AND SHE USED TYLER'S AND ZEPHYR'S PHOTO of them in PIRATE COSTUMES!!! How am i suppose to top Tyler and Zephyr HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAh they were so ADORABLE!!!!!

So yes 5 down!!!! Now 7 of us to go!!! So each and everyday right~ i have a 1/8 probability of preaching (out of 8 because must take into account the probability of not having anyone preach also :P) HAHAHAHAHH was thinking about probability ever since Ling went up!! Hahahahahah Well it's a good practice for my Mathematics lah HAHAHHAHA

So YAH MAN!!!! Can't wait for my TURN!!!! Like Ling always thought me....

So after Ling preached right~ i really wanted to blog straight away! But didn't have time....cause IMMEDIATELY after school we had to RUSH down to Johor Bahru, Senai Airport there to take Air Asia to Kota Kinabalu for MISSION TRIP!!!!

IT WAS SOOOOOOOOOOOOO FUN!!!!! HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA i really think lah out of ALL of the mission teams that have went off, our team to KK is the most pampered one lah :P hahahahahahah

After school rushed like CRAZY to go to Johor Bahru, Senai Airport! Made it in time lah! Hahahahahahah then our team was SOOOOO KIASU man!!! Even before the Flight Attendants asked us to line up ah~ we ALREADY lined up! HAHAHAHAHHA Some more like 8 of us put our bags down and only 3 of us were queueing up HAHAHAHAHAHHA, While queueing up right~ we found out that one of our team members have NEVER sat on an airplane before!!! o_O! He's like 20+ hahahahah Ching Ming lah! And so like when the airplane was taking off right, all of the girls SCREAMED his name lah!! HAHAHAHHAAHh OMG SO MALU!!! Our team leader was SOOOOO SHOCKED MAn!!! HAHAHAHAHh she was like trying to hide heheheheheh!

Then we reached JB at 9pm plus lah!!! We took like SO MANY pictures on the plane, in the AIRPORT hahahah like very very very SAKAI tourist like that hahahaha and OMG OMG THIS IS SO FUNNY!!! Cause for my team members right~ alot of them was their first time sitting on AirAsia lah! HAHAHAHHAAH So you know how before take off and after landing they will spray somethings right~ so it looks like mist.....hahahahahah my team members was like "WAHHHHHHHHHHH~~~~" HAHAHAHAHAHHA OMG SO FUNNY LAH!!!! One of them even said "So SUAKU (Mountain turtle/tortoise) lah" HAHAHAHAHHAHA

Even on the plane ah~ me and another friend, Tong Yan, was so hungry right~ hahahahah so we spent like RM20 to buy food on the plane (AirAsia doesn't serve food, they SELL) hahahahahah!!

So yeah then we met up with the leaders of the Glory Christian Centre, and also our different hosts~ Cause accomodation was all prepared already hahaha! So we all split up lah, some had a tour around KK (even go to see all the AKUA, transexual, they say very pretty one, when me and Joel, my team member and room mate in KK, told our host, He was like "Now got alot and it seems like the standard had gone up HAHAHAHHAAHHAHA so funny lah) some immediately went to the Host's house to rest, some went for supper, some went for commitee meeting and so on lah!

Joel and I went to have supper with out hosts Alan and Rikki. It was DELICIOUS!!! Boneless Chicken wings stuffed with SAUSAGES!!! DUMPLINGS!!! and i had beef koay teow lah! Joel had brown sauce me (have no idea what it was, but Joel said it was really delicoius ahahah) Then went back to the host's house and immediatly unpacked, bath and fell asleep hahahahah!

Saturday, 2nd of August 2008

Woke up at like 7.45am! When we actually set our alarm for 7am ahahhahah but slept trough like 5 alarms hahahhaha, btu we were still early :P hahahahah! Then went to have breakfast right~ hahahahah i had a VERY HEAVY breakfast! Asam Nonya Fish Bee Hoon plus Mee!! So heavy right~ 8am plus already eat Asam Nonya! But it was SOOOOOO GOOD~~~~hahahahha

Then went to the church to meet up with the various Ministry Heads, briefing for all we're going to do for Saturday, then we broke off to our own particualr teams. My team was in charge of the drama! So we practiced like from 10am plus till like 6pm plus!!! So tiring man!!! Hahahahah but it was fun lah!! We had so many many MANY bloopers!!! HAHAHAHHAh the funniest one was during our first FULL RUN, the main girl character, Yvonne Ang, in between scenes she had to RUSH to change costume right~ AHAHHAHAH OMG SO FUNNY LAH!!! When it was her turn to go on stage she was still in the TOILET!!! Then we shouted for her right~ so she came running in, then she was like "I'm stuck, i'm stuck!" cause she was wearing a headset lah, hahahah and the Microphone was ON!!! so EVERYONE heard the entire commotion we had back stage! Like "help her quick!" and "how now?" and "Eh you have to get on stage already." and "VON VON the Mic is ON!!" hahahah and then the director, Ke Xin came to the back to see what was going on right~ then we told her, and she started laughing so hard till she fell down, then Yvonne gave up and fell down laughing also AHHAHAHAHA it was so FUNNY LAh! Thank God it was just practice!

Finally it was 8pm! And it was out time to take the stage!!! It was really funny lah! We had some hiccups, but the audience of 800+ really enjoyed the drama lah! As usual, i shaked my bons bons HAHAHAHAHh also THANK GOD in the morning right~ we were told that the drama had to be bilingual hahahahha so i didn't have to act in chinese hahahahaha! Seriously man, out of EVERYTHING in SOT, our assigments lah, preaching test lah, mock cell group lah, 21-day prayer, overnight prayer meeting, Deliverance sessions, and everything else, the highest achievement would have been ACTING in CHINESE LAH!!! HAHAHAHAHHAHA but but BUT THANK GOD didn't have to act in Chinese lah heheheh :P

So we got AWESOME reviews for the drama lah! And it was really God's Grace, cause between 10am till 6pm was actually our first time where EVERYONE was there for practice, and where we had all the songs, FINALIZATION of the script, props and everything! Hahahahahah So really Praise God for everything lah!

Then Christian, from Joyce's church shared the message! And it was really really POWERFUL!!!! And we had, if i'm not mistaken lah, 15+ salvation that night!!! Praise God!!!!

So after the entire meeting, Joel, Alan and I decided to join Yvonne Ang, Yvonne Cheong, Lily (their host) and another SOT student (really cannot remember names lah) to have SEAFOOD at 11.30PM!!! it was SOOOOOOO GOOD!!!!!! Then Alan wanted to outdo Lily in showing us around KK lah hahahah so we didn't go home first, we went touring KK lah, but after like 30minutes Alan, Joel and Myself like falling asleep already hahahahah, so we went home loh~ hahahhahaha

Sunday, 3rd of August 2008

Had only like 4 hours of sleep! We really overslept man! But got to Church on time lah! hahahah 7.30am! Then attended 2 services, Chinese service at 8am and English Service at 10.30am! They were GREAT IMPACTFUL services! Brother Kim Hock, our Dean of Academic shared the word!!! [Having Expectations!] The english service's worship team so soooo cool man! A 50+ MAN playing the ELECTRIC GUITAR!!!! The worship team were all older people lah, like 30-50 like that! But they were like so ROCKING MAN!!!!

Then after service we went to have the tour of the 90% completed new church building of Glory Christian Centre! At was AMAZING MAn!!!!! Can't wait to visit them when the building finishes!!! it was HUGE!!!!!!

Then we went SHOPPING!!!!!! AHAHAHAHHAHAHAh i bought like 2 clothes ;) hehehhehehe then we went to the beach lah HAHAHAHAHAH. Not such a big deal for me lah, but for the Singaporeans HEHEHHEHEHEHEH ;) their beach very small bah! So they wanted to see a really really nice sunset hehehehhehe! It was beautiful :') we had a lot of fun lah!

I had like a HUGE CUP of AVACADO JUICE!!! IT WAS SOOOOOOOOOO DELICIOUS!!!!!!! Couldn' t really eat anything after that! Cause it was SOOOOO FILLING!!!!! BUT BUT BUT i found my CHICKEN BUTT!!!!! HEHEHEHEHHEHEH I LOVE CHICKEN BUTT!!!!! YUM....YUM.....SINGAPORE CANNOT FIND!!! Cause UNHEALTHY!!! HAHAHAH so being ME hehehehheheheh i got the GIRLS to eat it without them KNOWING what it was until they FINISH!!! HAHAHHAHAHAH IT WAS HILARIOUS MAN!!!!!!! My victims were:

So yes because it was AirAsia.......aiyah you know already lah.....our flight got delayed for like an hour! We only reached Singapore at 1.45am like that! BUT i live very close to Woodlands and also live very close to school lah, so i got to sleep for like 5 hours ;) heheheheheh
