the lily pond map....

Mysterious ain't it.....[the lily pond map] kinda makes you think what is it about ;) well unless you've been reading my tagboard, then it's not that mysterious already :P hahahahah this is just another post for San...it's ok San no trouble at all, kinda have fun drawing the map! Hahhahahahahahah


And of course this wouldn't be my blog if i didn't put any comment hahahahah! San you really gotta try to enlarge this pic, it is so funny, well it's funny if you add these messages:

  • if you can't tell where the pond is on the map, then i SUGGEST you get a primary 4 geography student to help you :P
  • the map is NOT drawn to scale (hai~ mathematics all over again...)
  • the dogs ARE there well mostly at night lah~ but pls pls pls don't bring food and feed then, later like in MD where the dog barked at you ^ ^ hehehehhehe
  • the banana tree....i totally forgot which side is it on, so i drew both sides hahahaha but they're so cool right~ hahahahaha

Another San post.....>:)

Hahahahahah don't i just give the most cheeky facial expressions ;) hahahahah, HEY STEPH!!! Wahhhh since when you read my blog ah....hahahahahah and yes it IS dramatic, but i find that as a good thing ;) hahahahah i can become the next Rachel Ray or that old guy what's his name......Floyd i think....hahahhaah PLUS good idea also, hahahahh i SHOULD come up with a cookbook that is all colourful and dramatic, hmmmm.....sure sell like HOTCAKES one hahahahah eh you don't copy MY idea ah~ hahahaha

So off topic man~ hahahah so San what are you up to! Party here Party there is it~ like that lah only wait until i left THEN you hold parties :( hahahahahahhah so since you're asking for another recipe and directions i'm ASSUMING that the peach crumble turn out FANTASTIC hahahahhah ;) well why wouldn't it ;) it was MY directions HAHAHHAHAH OMG SO PROUD~ cannot cannot cannot~ must repent must repent hahahahhaha

As usual you know i don't follow measurements, BUT if you put too much or too little of something for this dish, it'll turn out HORRIBLE (like how XZ destroyed my lagsane one time~hahahahha) so i approximated my measurements with respect to some of the Yahoo! recipes, you can actually look it up yourself you know~ hahahahahahha

So anyhows here's how to make the Carbonara Pasta :)

Carbonara

INGREDIENTS
  • 4 eggs
  • 1cup Parmesan cheese, GRATED lah, if not one whole chunk is it~ hahaha
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream, NOT whipped cream ( NOT the sweet sweet one that Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf put on your ice blended drinks not the one you can spray out one.....it is the LIQUID ONE, UHT Whipping Cream, Supa Save got sell hahahhaha)
  • LOADS of BACON!!!! Up to you lah, measurement for this one not that important cause won't really, i said "won't really" ah~ affect the taste of the sauce :)
  • Salt
  • Ground pepper
  • and OF COURSE Spaghetti lah! If not rice ah~ hahahahah you can use whatever pasta you want, got macaroni lah, Ricotti lah, Fetucine lah, Linguine lah...(i don't care if any of the spelling's wrong ok~ not taking spelling test hahahahahha

DIRECTIONS

EVEN SIMPLER THAN THE PREVIOUS ONE~

  • Mix the eggs, parmesan cheese and whipping cream together, MIX THEM THOROUGHLY (hahahah like Bio practical like that~ hahaha) set aside...DON'T PUT IN FRIDGE and saying that also means don't put in freezer lah ahahahaha
  • cut the LOTS AND LOTS of BACON (saliva drooling.......) into strips maybe 2cm by 1cm like that and FRY THEM, until very crispy, make sure don't overcook like how you overcook the FISH one time until "cha hui tah" hahahhahah means overcook until overcook, it's Hokkien hahahahha then drain the oil and set aside the bacon hahahah not the oil! hahahahah OMG so funny if a person were to set aside the oil and throw away the bacon HAHAHHAHAHAHAHA
  • Boil pasta...well duh~ in salted water, salty like the sea.....hahahah NO LAH, Bacon already so salty, i don't want your kidneys failing~ hahahahah and 3 tablespoons of olive oil :)
  • Now here's the most challenging part WITHIN A SECOND hahahahha which is impossible, do all of this simultaneously......drink a glass of milk, go toilet and wash your hands, feed you cat, drive to Gadong and take picture with Jolibee, came back home and water your plants and then e-mail me a 1500 word letter HAHAHAHHAHA -_-! HAHAHAHAHHAHA i just had to put that in HAHAHAHHA
  • So anyways this part is really challenging lah, quickly drain the pasta (whichever you're using) then leaving SOME hot water, DUMP everything into the "egg+cream+cheese+salt+pepper" mixture then throw in the crispy bacon then MIX THEM UP!!! Like very fast, *in a Stephanie's sort of voice where she's mocking a teacher who tries to be very poised and elegant* the heat of the pasta will cook the egg....hahahha

and there you have it you're CARBONARA!!! I cook it quite differently lah, i also use milk lah, chicken stock, and i mix everything in a wok under low heat to ENSURE everything is really cook! I also use Mozerella cheese, parsley, white mushroom, spring onion, garlic, onion and a lil'bit of condensed milk, a LIL'BIT!!! But for that one i really don't know the measurements :P and besides after adding all the little things i add, no longer considered carbonara hahahahahahah

I know there's ALOT of spelling mistake~ the spell check function is down bah.....hahahahah

Just for San....

Aiyah you ah, so mafan~ one hahahahhaha OMG when i read your last blog i couldn't stop laughing, you've been hanging out a lot with your other prefect friends is it~ so hilarious when you speak malay lah....btw mafan~ means troublesome......BUT when you put the "~" behind it's a nice way of saying it hahahahahah MISS YA SAN!!!

So anyways here's your recipe ok~

Note: i haven't cooked in AGES well not really lah, just cooked maggi mee last week, BUT that's totally different man~ and also you know how i don't like to follow like measurements right~ so just agak agak the measurements to your liking saja.....i can speak malay too :) hahaha

Peach Crumble

INGREDIENTS
  • OBVIOUSLY you need PEACHES hahahahahah just use canned ones~ (well DUH!! i don't think you'll actually go and get the fresh ones, then peal, then seed it, then boil abit hahahaha so just get canned ones lah)
  • yes yes yes you need flour, BUT not milk.....actually up to you lah...hahaha
  • butter!
  • brown sugar
  • the honey cornflakes....(you know which one right~)
  • and yes CINNAMON POWDER...YUMMMMMMMM LOVES CINNAMON!!!!

DIRECTIONS

They're so simple that you can just close your eyes and do them....well OBVIOUSLY not the cutting parts lah hahahaha

  • strain the peaches BUT keep the syrup for later, then dice the peaches up to a size that fits your liking, place aside
  • taking the butter out DIRECTLY from the fridge, using fingertips, mix coarsely with flour, until resembles bread crumbs OR mashed up POLVORON, then place into FRIDGE not FREEZER!
  • then take the honey cornflakes and BEAT IT UP hahahah finely....then add in your brown sugar and cinnamon
  • then take out the "breadcrumbs" from the fridge and mix thourougly with the beaten up cornflakes+brown sugar+cinnamon
  • In an oven dish place the peaches FIRST!!! then pour in SOME SYRUP, then sprinkle evenly your powdery mixture that you've concocted on top of the peaches+syrup. The ratio of syrup to powder mixture is for every one part syrup you need about 2-3 parts powder. No need to press anything down, once in the oven it'll settle itself :D
  • Preheat oven 15-20minutes, once preheated pop into oven then set time for it to cook, then once "ting" leave it on for about 30-45minutes, to let EVERYTHING cook heheheh temperature and cooking time wise, i'm not really sure leh~ so just use your way lah :D

THATS ALL!!! And of course serve with either ice-cream/chocolate/whip cream/ strawberry syrup, pls pls pls for my sake do not serve with CURRY HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAH OMG SO MEAN!!!!! sorry san!! But really coudn't resist it.....hahahhaa
